Company Constitution Feedback

In 2018, NSW Fair Trading directed Equestrian NSW to move from being an incorporated association to a not-for-profit company, as for some time we have exceeded the $2m limit for combined assets and turnover ($2.70m + $1.67m = $4.37m).

A draft Constitution was previously distributed to Members for review and comment.  The attached document reflects member feedback, including the following improvements:

• Simplified Objects (what we do)
• Deleting rules which are covered under Equestrian Australia Bylaws (eg Discipline)
• Making voting easier
• Introducing a separate Company Secretary role, with a governance focus.
• Recognition of the Coaching NSW Committee
